Welcome to West Palm Beach

Culture, history, and an esteemed reputation only found on the Lake Worth Lagoon

West Palm Beach is an opulent, cultural destination. Boating shows, iconic shopping districts, and vast museums have brought the arts, spirit, and excitement to this sunny tropical paradise. Year-round fun in the sun and scenic waterways are home to some of the most valuable and stunning real estate in the nation, particularly along Flagler Drive.

West Palm Beach is the oldest incorporated municipality in southern Florida, owing its roots to Spanish conquistadors and seventeenth-century settlers. Following incorporation, several luxury hotels, residential neighborhoods, and shopping districts were constructed, to celebrate the area’s outstanding scenery and ultimately cultivate one of Florida’s most beautiful and vibrant waterfront communities.

What to Love

  • Luxury shopping, high-end dining, and lively nightlife districts
  • Spirited arts scene featuring the Norton Museum of Art and four-theater Kravis Center
  • Unmatched waterfront scenery along the Lake Worth Lagoon
  • Brightline Train connects West Palm Beach to Miami in just 65 minutes, making day trips simple

Local Lifestyle

West Palm Beach residents enjoy a resort lifestyle twelve months of the year. Morning jogs and bike rides are made exciting by the location of the adjacent Lake Worth Lagoon. A bit more inland, residents enjoy tropical scenery, a wide variety of cuisine from the four corners of the globe, and prestigious schools, both public and private. Internationally acclaimed yacht shows, music and art festivals, and luxury hotels making for a perfect staycation getaway are just routine parts of life in paradise.

Dining, Entertainment, and Shopping

West Palm Beach is one of southern Florida’s cultural epicenters. Fine cuisines, airy shopping centers, antique shopping, and nighttime hotspots are abundant.

Perfectly located right on the water, E.R. Bradley‘s Saloon is a top destination for breakfast, brunch, and popular late-night bites. Since 1984, this hotspot has developed a reputation for its lively atmosphere, live bands and DJs, and Sunday brunch. Fish tacos, lobster bisque, and a classic fish and chips combo are some of their perfected favorites.

Nearby, Rosemary Square is one of Palm West Palm Beach's newer neighborhoods boasting a live-work-play lifestyle. A highly walkable neighborhood hosts local events throughout the week, larger-than-life art murals, a variety of dining establishments, and several shops, some locally owned and others nationally recognized.

Antique Row takes visitors back in time with over forty different establishments featuring an array of unique finds, some of which are hundreds of years old. Voted one of the best shopping experiences by Condé Nast Traveler and a favorite spot for some of the world’s top interior designers, Antique Row has also received high praise from Architectural Digest, The New York Times, and House Beautiful, among others.

Clematis Street is the beating heart of downtown West Palm Beach, featuring architecturally significant structures, art galleries, a farmers’ market, and SunFest in the springtime. West Palm Beach’s first main thoroughfare extends from Clear Lake out to waterfront Flagler Park.

West Palm Beach hosts a number of internationally acclaimed events, with the Palm Beach International Boat Show being one of the largest. Taking place on the first weekend in May since 1983, SunFest has been Florida’s largest waterfront art and musical festival, attracting more than 100,000 attendees each year.

Some previous performers have included Ludacris, Keith Urban, Diplo, and many more. More quiet and relaxing days can be spent at The Ben, one of West Palm Beach's newer luxury establishments. Downtown‘s only waterfront hotel boasts a number of amenities for visitors including several culinary options, a rooftop lounge offering panoramic views, and a sparkling pool.
